| Prestige Class: Knight of Gideon (3.5 version) | PDF (219 Kb) |
|
One of the characters in my game is a paladin of the Order of
Gideon. She has been searching through every book we can find for
a prestige class that would fit her character's goals and
personality, but had found absolutely nothing. So, this young
lady (actually my wife) asked me to design a prestige class with
her paladin's order in mind. Thus, the Knights of Gideon were born.
Note: Artwork in this file was found on the Wizards of the Coast website. Use of it here is, by no means, a challenge to their ownership or the artist's ownership, only used for illustrative purposes to enhance the download. (Besides, the picture is REALLY cool and works out very well for the character, the prestige class, and the concept.) |

| Prestige Class: Priest of Light (3.5 version, coming soon) | PDF (??? Kb) |
|
Brother William Dubois, a player character in my Saturday night
game, is a champion of goodness, diplomat, and accomplished
hunter of demons and undead. He looked over many different
prestige classes in nearly every d20 book we could find, and
nothing seemed to fit his vision of the way his character was to
be portrayed. Considering Brother William Dubois (human cleric)
and Lady Maxine Renoir (human paladin/Knight of Gideon) seemed to
be fanning the flames of a romance, I used that little pairing as
the basis for the Priest of Light PrC.

| Creature: Taloned Hulk (3.5 version) | PDF (272 Kb) |
|
While surfing the web one day I stumbled across a picture of a
monster that reminded me of the old AD&D hook horror.
However, it was a really awesome piece done by Todd Lockwood that
was supposed to be for the "old" 3.0 Monster Manual and
it looked a little different, a bit more modern. So I decided to
make a creature out of it and called it the taloned hulk. My
party faced three of these bad boys in their first encounter with
them. They did fairly well (only one fatality out of the six 14+
level characters). Try these guys out on your higher level PCs
and see how they fare.

| Gaming - Player and Game Master Levels | PDF (305 KB) |
| Recently there has been a discussion on ENWorld about what level freelancer you are. I also use something like that for my home games and give little bonuses to my players depending on what "level" they are. -By the way, according to the current products released, I am a 5th-level writer/12th-level player/15th-level GM. Guess that makes me an "epic-level" character. | |

| Initially, this prestige class was supposed to be included with Interludes: Brief Expeditions to Bluffside or Bluffside: City on the Edge (published by Thunderhead Games, now Mystic Eye Games) but was cut for a version of the Road Warden used in The Hunt: Rise of Evil sourcebook (published by Mystic Eye Games). Now here it is in its original format. | |

| The Warlord Wars | |
|
Deep in the recesses of pre-history come the tales of
great warlord armies that vied for the very existence of their
races. Humans, elves and orcs amassed great armies under influential
leaders and marched many miles to battle each other to see which
would be the dominant species. Now, you can join these mighty
campaigns as any of the battling armies in many of their most
historic clashes. Break out your minis, shine
your d20s, and get ready to dive head long into The Warlord Wars.
The Warlord Wars is a free d20 series of mass combat scenarios. The use of tokens and/or minis is highly recommended. The scenarios are written for use with the main armies (human barbarians, wild elves, and orcs), but any fantasy army can work here. Each scenario has win conditions and basic terrain layout. Each "army pack" includes a commander, the army, and various tricks and tactics that are common for that army to use against foes. Everything is written in full d20 statistics so that you can use any part of The Warlord Wars in your own campaigns. |
|
| Army 1: Barbarians (coming soon) | PDF (TBA) |
| The least technologically advanced of the ancient warlord armies is the human barbarians. Little more than spear-throwing nomadic tribes of warriors looking to carve a peaceful place to live out of a hostile environment of evil orcs and treacherous elves. | |
|
|
|
| Army 2: Orcs (coming soon) | PDF (TBA) |
| The orcs have gone unchallenged in many mountain ranges for most of their race's history. This has allowed them to build strong defenses against intruders and develop some of the most impressive technology to be brought to the Warlord Wars. Extermination of all others is the name of the game. | |
|
|
|
| Army 3: Wild Elves (coming soon) | PDF (TBA) |
| Magically superior to both barbarians and orcs, the ancient wild elves have a long racial history of stabbing both races in the back. The elves drove the orcs from their ancestral forest homes and taught the humans deadly rituals that set the young humans back many generations on the evolutionary ladder. Survival is meant for the fittest and you plan on fitting that title. | |

|
| Scenario 1: Blood Forge Pass (coming soon) | PDF (TBA) |
| The first real battle in the Warlord Wars. This is the one that started it all (for 2-6 players). | |
